I stumbled onto your RHJunior Comics Forum post about the "drunk Klingon allies"
The Klingon you observed is most likely KataH, Captain of the IKV Bloodlust, and lately found poisoning, er, serving customers behind the bar at the Black Hole - the Klingon party room at BayCon, FurCon and SiliCon.

Thanks! That's my favorite "Klingons at a con" story, made better because I was right there when it happened. I think it'd still be my favorite if I'd only heard it secondhand.

Hi, Mike.

Followed you over here from RHjunior's place.

I've had a colonoscopy every year for the last ten years, Crohn's colitis, and I've never heard of a better description of the prep solution than, "syntho-pineapple flavored Liquid Plumber.

I'll make sure my Gastro-enterologist hears that description but I doubt he'll pass it on to his other patients.

If you ever come East for a con why don't you try Dragon Con in Atlanta.

Otpu

Thanks! Dragon Con is a monster, isn't it? The whole Worldcon could take place unnoticed in a corner, from what I've heard. I'm more into the "written SF" type stuff, and science/technology things, but even if that's a tiny fraction of Dragon Con, there would be a lot of it.

My G-E didn't seem to be amused when I referred to that stuff as "Liquid Plumber."

-- Mike Van Pelt
